Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time Occupational Therapist position provides an exciting opportunity to support students across K-12 in a dynamic school setting located just 20 minutes outside of Boston, MA. The role is a contract position covering a maternity leave, starting approximately March 26 through June 12, with the possibility of Extended School Year (ESY) work for interested candidates.
Responsibilities include delivering direct OT services to students, collaborating with educational teams to develop and implement individualized plans, and supporting the diverse needs of children within the school environment. The ideal candidate will be skilled in school-based occupational therapy practices and demonstrate the ability to effectively adapt interventions to meet student goals.
Key qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in K-12 school settings
- Strong knowledge of school-based OT assessments, interventions, and documentation
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and families to promote student success
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Flexible and adaptable within a fast-paced school environment
