Visiting Angels in Sudbury, Ma is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care. The ideal candidate will have experience in various caregiving settings, including home care, assisted living, and group homes. This role requires a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients through attentive and personalized care.\nResponsibilities:\nAssist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.\nProvide companionship and emotional support to clients.\nAdminister medications according to care plans\nPrepare meals\nPerform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean living environment.\nAssist with mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary.\nEngage clients in meaningful activities that promote cognitive function and social interaction.\nProvide specialized care for clients with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or developmental disabilities.\nCollaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans effectively.\n \nSkills:\nExperience in home health, hospice care, or long-term care settings is a plus.\nStrong patient observation skills to identify changes in health status.\nAbility to perform heavy lifting when assisting clients with mobility needs.\nKnowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality.\nFamiliarity with cooking and meal preparation .\nExcellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and families.\nCompassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
