Shift Supervisor (Heavy Industrial)
Large, heavy industrial plant has an immediate for a Shift Supervisor to join their team. The successful will applicant will be charged with managing the staff and various maintenance activities within the plant during their assigned shift.
MUST HAVES!
- Must possess a Massachusetts Second Class Engineer’s License to be considered!
- 3+ years of hands-on experience working in a heavy industrial facility.
- Solid technical knowledge and experience of boilers, turbines and steam plant operations.
- Hands-on experience with HP steam boilers, electrical generation equipment is required for this role
- Ability to troubleshoot plant equipment issues when needed.
- 3+ years of supervisory experience within a heavy industrial environment
- Ability to mentor the maintenance team / strong leadership skills
- Excellent organizational skills (will need to plan daily work rota for the hourly employees, ensure work tasks are completed in a timely manner, coordinate maintenance activities etc.)
- ASME certification holder or ability to obtain it within 6 months from date of hire.
- Must be able to work a rotating 12 hour shift that switches from days to night every 2 months.
