Pride Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Berlin, VT. This is a full-time, day shift position offering the opportunity to provide high-quality care. This is an excellent role for LPNs looking to make a meaningful impact while working in a supportive, professional environment.
Job Summary:
- Job Title: LPN - LTC
- Location: Berlin, VT
- Contract Duration: 16 Weeks
- Shift: 3x12 hrs Days
- Pay Range: $1700 - $1873 weekly gross DOE
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as per standard nursing practices.
- Provide personal care and assist residents with daily activities.
- Use recommended safety devices and adhere to infection control protocols.
- Respond to call lights and resident requests for assistance.
- Complete nursing documentation, including medication administration and care provided.
- Assist in updating care plans and coordinating with other staff.
- Assess and report changes in residents' conditions to the physician.
- Participate in staff orientation and provide mentorship.
- Attend and assist with residents' medical appointments and health screenings.
- Ensure proper recordkeeping and compliance with all state and HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications:
- Active LPN License
- BLS through AHA - Required
- Minimum 3 years of experience
- LTC experience required
- Comfortable working with Dementia patients
- Prior travel experience
