BrightStar Care is adding to our therapy team in the Boston, Winchester, Newburyport, and Southern NH areas. Up to $90 per hour based on experience.

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Occupational Therapists OTs and Physical Therapists PTs to join our team on a per diem basis.

Position Summary:
A Per Diem Occupational Therapist OT/Physical Therapist PT position is available to support our skilled nursing and sub-acute rehab partners in the Boston, North Shore, Newburyport, and Southern NH areas. This role offers the flexibility of per diem work with the autonomy to manage your own case load.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive and compassionate occupational therapy/physical therapy services in accordance with physician orders
  • Assess patients functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, independence and quality of life
  • Deliver skilled interventions, therapeutic exercises, and education to patients and caregivers
  • Document patient progress accurately and timely in accordance with company and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with nursing staff, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive and effective care
  • Ensure a safe and positive therapy environment at all times

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program or Physical Therapy Program
  • Possess a current Occupational Therapy OT license/Physical Therapist (PT/RPT) license or be license-eligible to practice in Massachusetts and/or New Hampshire
  • Prior experience in skilled nursing or sub-acute rehab settings is preferred but not required
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a flexible per diem schedule
