Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years occupational therapy experience required.

A contracted Occupational Therapist position is available for the full school year, serving students in grades K-8 at a K-12 school in Everett, MA. This role involves providing therapeutic services to a caseload of approximately 12 students, supporting their development and participation in the school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to K-8 students identified with needs
  • Collaborate with school staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services and comply with regulatory standards
  • Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with parents and educators

Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license in Massachusetts is required
  • Experience working with school-age children preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Position Details:

  • Contract duration: Full school year (NSY)
  • Hours: 15 hours per week, 2 days each week
  • Location: Everett, MA
  • Student caseload: Approximately 12
