An exciting opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) specializing in ambulatory surgery and endoscopy care. Responsibilities:
- Monitor patients recovering from anesthesia after surgical and endoscopic procedures
- Manage vital signs and provide postoperative care tailored to individual patient needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and patient safety
- Administer medications and pain management interventions as prescribed
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of care and patient progress
- Prepare patients for discharge by providing education and support
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Active RN license with experience in PACU or post-anesthesia care
- Skilled in ambulatory surgery and endoscopy recovery protocols
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and patient education capabilities
- Flexibility to work various shifts as required
