Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A healthcare position is available for an Occupational Therapist to provide services within a school setting located in Middlebury, VT. This role requires traveling to various locations to deliver therapy services to students, supporting their educational and developmental needs.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide direct therapy services to students to enhance their fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school district policies and procedures.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans.
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license or certification.
- Experience working in pediatric or school-based occupational therapy settings preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage travel between assigned schools or locations.
- Commitment to supporting the developmental goals of children in an educational environment.
Location: Middlebury, Vermont with travel required.
