A leading educational institution in Pittsfield, MA is seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support students with moderate to severe behavioral needs. This contract position offers an opportunity to work within an Early Childhood through Grade 5 setting, delivering evidence-based interventions and behavioral support to help students thrive in their academic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Provide direct Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to students with moderate to severe behavioral challenges
- Collect and analyze data to monitor student progress and inform treatment adjustments
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to ensure consistency in intervention strategies
- Maintain professional documentation in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification with current registration
- Experience working with Early Childhood and Grades K-5 populations
- Ability to manage a caseload focused on moderate to severe behavioral difficulties
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and team members
- Ability to work under supervision while demonstrating initiative and flexibility
