Responsibilities

• Implement infection prevention protocols to ensure patient safety and compliance.

• Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

• Conduct regular assessments to identify infection risks in patient care areas.

• Stay updated on the latest infection prevention guidelines and regulations.

• Educate staff on best practices for infection prevention and control measures.

• Monitor and analyze infection data to track trends and outcomes.

• Ensure compliance with state and federal infection control regulations.

• Utilize performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of infection prevention strategies.

• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop infection prevention strategies.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to infection prevention.

• Foster a culture of accountability and high performance within the team.

• Prepare and present reports on infection prevention efforts and outcomes.

Experience/Qualifications

• Proven experience in infection prevention in a healthcare setting.
