Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position offers an opportunity for dedicated Special Education Teachers to support diverse K-12 student populations across multiple classroom settings in Massachusetts. Responsibilities include designing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs), collaborating with general education staff, and adapting teaching strategies to meet the needs of students with disabilities.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver tailored instruction to students with various disabilities
- Manage caseloads effectively, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and support staff
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports on student performance
- Foster inclusive and supportive learning environments
Qualifications and experience:
- Valid Massachusetts Special Education Teaching License required
- Proven experience working with K-12 students in special education settings
- Strong understanding of individualized education plans and differentiated instruction
- Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage diverse caseloads and adapt to varying classroom environments
