Senior Quality Technician – Manufacturing Excellence
Location: Onsite, Monday to Friday
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: $25–$33 per hour

About the Role:
We’re seeking a skilled Quality Technician to lead quality assurance efforts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role combines technical inspection, problem-solving, and process improvement to ensure every product meets the highest standards of accuracy and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:

Review and approve products for shipment by validating documentation and certifications

Apply and interpret GD&T concepts during inspections

Conduct dimensional checks on first articles and PPAP submissions

Create and interpret work instructions, train production teams on measurement tools and techniques

Perform inspections on incoming materials and manufactured parts

Track and analyze quality metrics to support improvement initiatives

Program and operate advanced measurement systems (FARO, Micro-Vu)

Organize QA lab priorities and participate in planning sessions

Conduct internal audits on dimensions, workmanship, and documentation

Maintain calibration procedures aligned with ISO standards
-
Investigate nonconformances and process failures; implement corrective actions

Mentor QA team members and inspectors

Lead or support structured Quality Walks on the production floor

Recommend and implement continuous improvement strategies

Deliver technical training to enhance QA capabilities
Qualifications:
-
5+ years of quality inspection experience, preferably in metal fabrication or precision manufacturing

Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and documentation

Strong math skills (fractions, decimals, percentages, ratios, basic algebra)

Comfortable with MS Office, spreadsheets, and online research

Experience with FARO and Micro-Vu programming preferred

Certified Quality Technician credential is a plus

Associate degree in a relevant technical field preferred

Pay Details: $52,000.00 to $68,640.00 per year
