Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for two paraprofessional roles supporting K-12 students with behavioral needs in a contract position running through June 17, 2026. Both positions involve one-on-one work with students requiring specialized attention within a school setting.
Locations and Hours:
- School 1: 8:35 AM 3:10 PM
- School 2: 8:25 AM 3:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to students with behavioral challenges during instructional time.
- Collaborate with classroom staff and adapt to any rearrangements as needed.
- Implement individualized plans to assist students in achieving educational goals.
- Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.
Qualifications and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working as a paraprofessional or in a child-related professional role.
- Comfortable and skilled in supporting students with special education needs.
- Able to provide at least one professional reference prior to assignment.
- Reliable transportation to and from the school.
- Must pass district fingerprinting and onboarding requirements.
- Flexibility and professionalism in adjusting to evolving classroom dynamics.
