Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: July 14, 2025
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Shift Schedule:

• Tues–Fri: 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• Sat: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Weekend Requirements: Yes – Saturday shift required, holiday rotation included
On-Call: None
Local or Travel Candidates: Travel only – Local candidates (within 50 miles) not accepted

Pay Details

• Rate:
  Travelers $17/hour on W2 and $1000/40 hours (Per Diem)= Gross weekly $1680

Job Description

As a Retail Pharmacy Technician, you'll support pharmacists in dispensing medications and handling compounding duties. You’ll work in a fast-paced retail environment within the hospital system and ensure accurate and timely patient medication distribution.

Duties Include:
• Prepare, mix, and compound medications following SOPs
• Dispense medications for patients and clinics
• Operate pharmacy automation systems and maintain accurate records
• Communicate professionally with pharmacists, nurses, and tech team
• Drive to designated locations for pharmacy deliveries (as needed)
• Work independently under pharmacist supervision

Requirements

Licensure/Certifications:
• Certified Pharmacy Tech (CPT) via PTCB – Required
• Registered Pharmacy Tech – Massachusetts license must be in hand at submission
• BLS (AHA) – Required

Experience:
• Retail Pharmacy experience – Required
• Minimum 6 months of inpatient hospital pharmacy tech experience
• Proficient in hospital pharmacy tech functions
• Comfortable with compounding and mixing medications
