Adecco is searching for a qualified Senior Merchandising Planner for a well known sports apparel company! This is a 7 month Contract role.
Hours: 8:00AM-5:00PM, Monday-Friday
Pay: $35-$40/hour depending on experience
Responsibilities:

Manage category open-to-buys (OTB) for stores and e-commerce; lead monthly OTB reviews with Buying

Own pre-season merchandise financial plans, including sales, inventory, margin, markdowns, and turns

Partner with Buying on in-season inventory, promotion planning, markdowns, and exit strategies

Review upcoming assortments to ensure alignment with financial and product strategies

Collaborate with Marketplace and Demand Generation on pricing, promotions, and inventory decisions

Standardize and deliver reporting to support sales and inventory analysis

Ensure adherence to company policies, values, and legal requirements
Requirements:

Strong analytical skills with expert knowledge of retail KPIs and retail math

High attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to present plans and performance to senior leadership

Self-motivated problem solver with strong cross-functional collaboration skills

Experience in merchandise planning, resource allocation, and assortment strategy

Familiarity with planning and BI systems (e.g., SAP or similar)

Knowledge of athletic industry trends and competitive brand landscapes preferred

Pay Details: $35.00 to $40.00 per hour
