K–12 STEM Tutor (In-Person)
Location:
Venezia Tutoring – 5 Middlesex Ave, Wilmington, MA (On-site)

Position Overview:
We are hiring personable, reliable tutors to support elementary, middle, and high school students in core academic subjects. All tutoring takes place on-site at our Wilmington office or remotely; however, candidates must be able to work in this hybrid environment. Ideal candidates are enthusiastic educators who are confident in their subject knowledge and enjoy working 1-on-1 with students.
Responsibilities:
• Provide in-person tutoring sessions in math, science, and/or other K–12 subjects
• Adapt instruction to individual student needs and academic levels in collaboration with support and planning staff
• Support students with classwork, homework, study skills, test preparation, organization, and executive functioning skills—-in line with our whole-student approach.
• Track progress and communicate clearly with families and the Venezia team through our digital platforms.
• Maintain accurate records of each session
Qualifications:
• Experience working with students in grades K–12
• Strong academic background and subject knowledge
• Clear communication and classroom management skills
• Professional, punctual, and engaging demeanor
• Familiarity with the new Digital SAT format is a plus (but not required)
• Bachelor’s degree or current college enrollment preferred
Type:
• Part-time, contract position ($35-50/session)
