Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position is available for the upcoming school year in Fall River, MA. This role involves managing a K-12 caseload within a dynamic educational setting. The position is offered on a contract basis, providing an excellent opportunity for professionals passionate about supporting students' communication needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing comprehensive speech and language assessments and interventions to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans.
- Supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) and Clinicians in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFYs), when applicable.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines.
Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Certification: Speech-Language Pathology licensure with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and Portuguese is an asset.
- Ability and willingness to supervise SLPAs and CFYs preferred.
- A minimum of three years experience in a school setting is highly desirable.
