Title: Journeyman Electrician
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40-45 / hour
Ability to Commute: Merrimack, NH 03054 (Required)
Willingness to travel, 25%-50% (Preferred)

Job Overview:

We are looking for a licensed and experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in commercial and industrial electrical work, capable of reading blueprints, managing projects, mentoring apprentices, and completing complex installations with minimal supervision. Preference will be given to candidates located in southern New Hampshire or northeastern Massachusetts.

Duties:

  • Independently install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings
  • Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Lead and coordinate job site tasks, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues using meters, tools, and schematics
  • Work with low voltage systems, building controls, and energy-efficient solutions
  • Mentor apprentices and assist in on-the-job training
  • Ensure all work adheres to local codes and regulations

Skills:

  • Proficiency in commercial and industrial electrical systems
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of electrical codes, materials, and tools
  • Skilled in using ohmmeters, voltmeters, and testing equipment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Adaptability in a fast-growing, safety- and quality-driven environment

Experience:

  • Journeyman-level commercial/industrial electrical work: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:

  • Valid NH Journeyman Electrician License (Required)
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 (Required)
  • Driver’s License (Required)

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday
  • On call
  • Overtime
  • Rotating shift
  • Weekends as needed
