Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school psychologist position is available for the upcoming school year at a high school in Amherst, MA. This role requires providing psychological services and support to students in grades K-12, focusing on assessing and addressing their social, emotional, and educational needs. The position is contract-based, full-time, and aligned with the school calendar.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Massachusetts School Psychologist License required
- Experience working with K-12 student populations preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and staff
Position Details:
- Contract duration: Current School Year (CSY)
- Work schedule: 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Age group served: Kindergarten through 12th grade
- Location: High school setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to identify student needs
- Develop and implement intervention plans and support strategies
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote positive student outcomes
- Assist in developing individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives
