Seeking a Physical Therapist for a K-12 school setting in Lawrence, MA, to support student health and mobility throughout the academic calendar year (NSY). This contract position offers an opportunity to apply specialized physical therapy skills within a dynamic educational environment, assisting students ranging from kindergarten to 12th grade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy evaluations, interventions, and treatments tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with educators and school healthcare staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and communicate effectively with parents and school personnel.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and school policies.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Licensed Physical Therapist with experience or interest in school-based therapy.
- Familiarity with pediatric populations and developmental milestones.
- Knowledge of educational environments and ability to work within a school team.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage caseloads and work effectively with diverse student needs.
