Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Providing in-home physical therapy services within Andover, MA, this role supports K-12 students throughout the academic year under a contract arrangement. The position involves delivering two 60-minute sessions per week, tailored to meet the individual needs of students in their home environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-home physical therapy sessions for K-12 students.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on assessments.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Adhere to all applicable regulations and best practices in school-based therapy.
Desired Qualifications:
- Licensed Physical Therapist with experience in pediatric or school-based settings.
- Skilled in evaluating and treating a variety of physical therapy needs in children.
- Strong communication skills to engage effectively with students, families, and school staff.
- Ability to work independently in a home-based setting.
- Knowledge of K-12 educational environment and related services preferred.
