Job DescriptionStep into a day in the life
As an A-level inspector on our team in Newington, NH, you’ll start your day partnering with Quality Control Inspectors, Project Engineering, Quality Engineering, and Manufacturing to align on priorities and standards. Reporting to the Quality Supervisor, you’ll ensure our build activities and inspections align with process work documents and applicable codes. This role is 100% on site.
From there, you’ll move to the floor to execute in-process checks called out by Engineering and close the loop with final inspections before release. You’ll keep meticulous records, verify our Quality Program is being applied, and serve as the quality representative during internal, customer, and regulatory audits.
What you’ll handle
- Receive and inspect raw materials, components, and castings; confirm specifications through visual and mechanical evaluations.
- Ensure in-process inspections are completed to engineering requirements throughout production.
- Conduct formal evaluations of product and accept or reject parts based on engineering specifications.
- Coordinate scrapping of nonconforming parts per documented procedures and engineering instructions.
- Create and maintain inspection reports, logs, and traceable records.
- Promote a safe work environment by following standards, procedures, and applicable regulations.
- Maintain and verify calibration status for measurement equipment; escalate repair needs promptly.
- Perform nondestructive tests: ultrasonic (UT), dye penetrant (PT), radiographic (RT), visual (VT), and magnetic particle (MT).
- Carry out mechanical, visual, and dimensional inspections as needed.
What you bring
- High school diploma or equivalent plus two years of college/technical school (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of relevant inspection experience.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, welding details, and technical documentation.
- UT or RT specialty focus.
- NDE certification preferred.
- Experience with Farrow measuring equipment.
- Ability to obtain and hold certifications as required.
- Requirement to maintain nine qualification levels, including Mechanical Inspection, Weld Surveillance, Liquid Penetrant II, and Magnetic Particle II, per defined qualification criteria. If unable to attain and maintain Weld Surveillance, Liquid Penetrant II, and Magnetic Particle II, a Company-selected substitute qualification may be achieved.
- Familiarity with shop drawings and sketches.

On-site in Newington, NH. Reports to the Quality Supervisor.
