Job DescriptionSpend Your Summer Making a Difference as a Camp Nurse in Cape Cod!We are looking for a caring and energetic Registered Nurse who thrives in a vibrant, child-focused environment. We are a co-ed day and overnight camp in the stunning Massachusetts, and we are looking for a compassionate and fun-loving nurse to join our Health Center team for the 2025 summer season!
This isn’t just a job—it’s an opportunity to immerse yourself in the joy of camp life while using your nursing skills to make a positive impact on our campers and staff.Location: Yarmouth Port, MAEmployment Type: Full-Time (5 days on / 2 days off)Shifts: Night Shift (4:30PM - 8:30AM) - June 11 to August 13, 2025

Compensation / Benefits

  • Compensation: $ 1.500,00/ week
  • Manageable Schedule: Evening medication duties finish by 9:30 PM, and morning distribution starts at 7:30 AM.
  • Live and Work in Cape Cod: Enjoy a residential position surrounded by natural beauty and a supportive team.
  • Time to Recharge: Nurses enjoy two 24-hour rest periods each week.
  • Location: In addition to the amazing location we are about 1 hour away from Boston and close to malls, markets and entertainment centers.
  • License: Reimburse costs to get license in MA if needed
  • Travel expenses: Considered case by case


About the Role
As a Camp Nurse, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining the health and happiness of our camp community. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing daily care for campers and staff in our Health Center.
  • Administering medications with care and precision.
  • Responding quickly and confidently to any medical emergencies.
  • Communicating with parents to ensure peace of mind and transparency.
  • Collaborating with the Camp Director on health-related concerns.
  • Keeping accurate and detailed health records for all campers and staff.
  • Participating in offsite trips and excursions to provide medical support.
  • Educating staff during training week on health protocols and safety measures.
  • Accompanying campers or staff to doctor’s appointments or emergency care, when needed.
  • Promoting a culture of healthy living across camp.


Requirements
We’re looking for a dedicated nurse with:

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in MA (or willing to obtain)
  • Experience working with children in schools, camps, or other youth-focused settings.
  • A warm, caring, and positive attitude.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Availability from June 11 to August 13, 2025.
