The Process Engineer | Training Coordinator will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and sustaining employee training programs that strengthen safety, operational efficiency, and professional growth across the site. This role will oversee onboarding programs, the training management system, and professional development initiatives (internal and external) while facilitating safety training. In addition, the coordinator will create video-based training modules and maintain a centralized training library to ensure accessible, consistent, and effective instruction for all employees. By collaborating with operations, quality, and leadership teams, the coordinator will ensure training is aligned with business goals and consistently delivered across the organization.
What you’ll do as a Process Engineer | Training Coordinator:
Training Program Development & Delivery
- Establish, refine, and develop training programs, including written, visual, and video-based procedures for all employees across shifts.
- Coordinate safety training programs in compliance with OSHA and company standards.
- Lead onboarding training to integrate new hires effectively into operations.
- Manage and maintain the training management system (TMS), ensuring accuracy of training records and certifications.
- Create and maintain a training library of written, visual, and video instructional resources accessible to all employees.
- Plan, coordinate, and track professional training programs, including internal skill-building and external development opportunities.
- Develop training matrices by role, including safety, technical, and operational skills.
- Define prerequisites for advancement (training, attendance, and behavior) with area leadership.
Evaluation & Continuous Improvement
- Develop metrics to evaluate training effectiveness and adjust methods to meet objectives.
- Routinely audit training processes across shifts and assess trainer performance.
- Ensure obsolete procedures are removed and replaced with current versions.
- Turn operational failures into opportunities through root cause analysis and updated training content.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Partner with supervisors, managers, and quality leaders to ensure alignment of training needs and delivery.
- Prepare and present training reports and recommendations to management.
- Build strong working relationships across all departments to support training objectives
We’re looking for a Process Engineer | Training Coordinator with:
- Bachelor’s degree in operations management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience.
- Experience developing and implementing training programs, including video content.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and training management systems.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational skills.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- SAP knowledge.
- Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Experience delivering professional/technical training in both group and individual setting
- Flexibility to support training across all shifts in a 24/7 operation.

Physical requirements and working conditions:
Our manufacturing Plant is comprised of enclosed office and manufacturing space. This position requires the ability to:
- Move throughout the entire facility to attend to various issues
- Work effectively in teams across functional groups with strong communication skills and the ability to lead
- Perform sedentary work on various computer systems
- Requires lifting up to 35 lbs., bending, pushing, and pulling.
- Must wear PPE (ear plugs, safety shoes) when on the production floor.
- Approximately 50% sitting, 50% standing/walking.
