Are you a licensed pharmacist with long-term care experience, ready to take on a leadership role? Were hiring a Pharmacist in Charge to manage daily operations and compliance at a high-volume LTC pharmacy in Massachusetts. This is a 13+ week contract-to-hire position with the potential to transition into a permanent leadership role.

Setting: Closed-door, long-term care pharmacy

Duration: 13+ week contract with hire potential

System Used: Frameworks (training available)

Daily Volume: ~600 prescriptions
What Youll Be Responsible For:

Leading and coordinating all aspects of pharmacy operations
-
Enforcing all applicable state and federal pharmacy regulations
-
Supervising and supporting the pharmacy team (technicians and pharmacists)
-
Managing inventory to ensure accuracy and minimize waste
-
Developing workflows that promote safety and efficiency
-
Addressing and resolving provider and patient concerns professionally
-
Supporting audits, compliance checks, and quality initiatives
-
Staying informed on industry standards and regulatory changes
-
Maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant work environment
Your Work Schedule:

Monday through Friday: Primarily daytime hours
-
Occasional Evenings/Weekends as needed for coverage
Required Background:
-
Active and unrestricted Massachusetts Pharmacist license
-
24 years of long-term care (LTC) experience
-
Previous pharmacy leadership or PIC-level experience
-
Familiarity with Frameworks is a plus, but not required
