Qualifications for the job:
- FOH and BOH management experience
- Hands on working Manager with some previous kitchen management experience preferred
- Minimum of 2-3 years of previous team leadership experience in the restaurant industry
- 2+ years responsibility for financial results
- 2+ years of experience as a Restaurant General Manager
- True desire to learn, grow and succeed in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible and adaptable
- Ability/flexibility to work 45-60 hours per week
- Ability to set goals, create action plans, and implement those plans
- Valid Driver’s license/Reliable transportation
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Key Competencies:
- Ability to hire, train, assign, schedule, mentor and develop team members
- Leads by example; hands on management style; set high standards for self and the team
- Proficiency in analyzing profit and loss statements and overall financial performance of restaurant
- Build sales, increase profitability, control labor/food costs
- Knowledge of Labor Laws
- Work in tandem with the District Manager to oversee the daily operations of the store
- Great culture leader who looks for great people to add to the family
- Proactively manages and develops a strong store team, motivates talent and nurtures a positive culture
- Reviews performance of employees and enforce policies and procedures
- Performs regular restaurant inspections to ensure team and restaurant are meeting standards
- Establishes, follows, and enforces sanitation standards and procedures
- Ability to control cash, property, product inventory, and equipment
