Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school district in Middlebury, VT is seeking a qualified School Psychologist to support student mental health and educational success. This role involves working within a dynamic school setting and requires occasional travel between schools and sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate student learning, behavior, and emotional needs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
  • Support positive behavioral interventions and contribute to school-wide mental health initiatives
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations

Desired Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist according to Vermont guidelines
  • Experience conducting psychological evaluations in a K-12 educational environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, families, and school staff
  • Ability and willingness to travel between school sites as required

Location:Middlebury, Vermont work will be primarily based in local schools with travel between locations as needed.
