Job Title: Concrete Foundations Foreman
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Concrete Foundations Foreman to lead and supervise concrete crews on commercial and/or residential construction projects. The ideal candidate is hands-on, safety-focused, and capable of managing daily operations to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate concrete crews on-site
- Plan daily work activities and assign tasks
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications
- Ensure proper placement, finishing, and curing of concrete
- Monitor job progress, productivity, and quality control
- Enforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations
- Communicate with project managers, inspectors, and subcontractors
- Train and mentor crew members
- Maintain tools, equipment, and jobsite cleanliness
Requirements
- 5+ years of concrete experience, in concrete foundation forming
- Strong knowledge of forming, pouring, finishing, and flatwork
- Ability to read blueprints and layout jobs accurately
- Proven leadership and crew management skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- OSHA 10 or 30 preferred (or willingness to obtain)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with commercial concrete projects
- Experience with slabs, sidewalks, and structural concrete
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb for extended periods
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50–75 lbs regularly
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain
- Ability to maintain balance and work on uneven surfaces
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hats, gloves, safety glasses, and steel-toe boots
- Ability to work long hours, including early mornings and occasional overtime as required
