Spot Welder - $26/hour (Direct Hire)

Responsibilities:

· Spot weld sheet metal parts and hardware according to specifications

· Setup and run resistance welding machines

· Select and align tooling, set current, pressure and timing cycles for aluminum, stainless steel and steel of various thickness

· Devise and make simple fixtures

· Working with gauges and precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy of close tolerance work

· Inspect work with squares, vernier calipers, rules and protractors and before bringing to inspection with also included weld testing by pulling lugs

· Basic shop math skills

· Parts could be heavy

Requirements:

· Previous experience with spot welding required

· Must be able to read calipers to measure and locate parts correctly

Hours are:

Monday through Friday – First shift

The pay is up to $26.00 an hour based on experience
