Pride Health is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support our client's medical facility based in Marlborough, MA 01752. This is a 3-month assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Location: Marlborough, MA 01752
Duration: 3+ months Contract (Possibilities of extension)
Payrate: $21-24/hr. On W2/Pay Rate is based on experience.
Schedule: 3:30 PM - 12 AM / Mon – Fri (Rotating weekends & holidays)
Job Responsibilities:
- Accurately and efficiently fill daily drug orders under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Pick medications from shelves and designated medication storage areas, including prepack racks.
- Apply labels to blister cards and scan products to ensure accuracy; promptly notify the pharmacist of any items that do not scan correctly.
- Assist with processing returned medications and recycle or dispose of them according to established procedures.
- Prepack frequently ordered medications during low-volume times, ensuring proper labeling and storage.
- Manually package materials and products as required.
- Maintain clean and organized workstation areas and restock supplies as needed.
- Follow all applicable government regulations, including HIPAA guidelines.
- Comply with departmental policies regarding safety, attendance, and dress code.
- Work overtime, holidays, and weekends as required to meet operational needs.
- May need to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds on occasion.
- May sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day.
- May be necessary to work extended hours as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school/GED or equivalent.
- Clear & active MA State Pharmacy Technician License from the MA Board of Pharmacy.
- Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required.
