We are seeking a Travel RN Labor & Delivery for a travel/contract position in Great Barrington, MA, and are accepting both local and traveler candidates.

Traveler Eligibility Requirements: To promote a diverse applicant pool, we seek travel nurses who reside **beyond a 50-mile radius** of the facility location. Qualified individuals who meet this criterion are encouraged to submit their applications.

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Pay Rate: Range $2880 Weekly Gross pay based on a 36-hour work week (Includes Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

Unit: L&D

Shifts available: Nights

Shift timings: 12 Hours; Nights, 7.00 pm - 7.30a

Schedule: 36 hours/week guaranteed, 3 X 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, Holiday rotation if required, RTO limit of 5 days, No block scheduling

Position Requirements:

  • Current Labor and Delivery experience: 2 years - Required
  • Post Partum and Mother/Baby experience - Required
  • Prior travel experience: Highly preferred
  • Covid Vaccination with latest dose date on/after 10/3/23 - Required (Exemptions considered with Provider or Religious Leader statement)

Education, License and Certification Requirements:

  • BSN – Requred
  • RN License for State of Massachusetts - Required
  • BLS Certification from AHA - Required
  • NRP – Required
  • STABLE Certification - Required

Job Description:

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing assessments and provide direct patient care in alignment with hospital standards in the Labor & Delivery
  • Provide Post Partum and Mother Baby care.
  • Monitor patients’ conditions, administer medications, and document care activities accurately.
  • Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Maintain compliance with state nursing regulations and facility policies.
