Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Seeking Special Education Teachers to support diverse K-12 student populations in Massachusetts. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in schools with varying caseloads, encompassing multiple classroom types tailored to meet the unique needs of students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction and support to students with special education needs across K-12 grades
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly to promote academic and social success
- Communicate effectively with families, staff, and administrators to ensure cohesive support for students
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal special education regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts Special Education License required
- Experience working with a range of student needs and classroom settings preferred
- Strong understanding of special education laws and best instructional practices
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
