Position Overview
 We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to join our team in the commercial painting sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately assessing project costs, preparing estimates, and collaborating with project managers to ensure successful project execution. This role is critical in helping us maintain our competitive edge and deliver quality services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze project blueprints and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers to understand project requirements and timelines.
- Source and evaluate suppliers for materials and services needed for projects.
- Prepare detailed and itemized estimates for commercial painting projects.
- Track project costs and provide updates to management as necessary.
- Assist in the preparation of bids and proposals to secure new projects.
- Review and negotiate contracts with clients and vendors.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the commercial painting industry.
- Strong knowledge of painting materials, coatings, and application techniques.
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
- Project management skills are a plus, but not required.
Benefits
- Total Compensation: $75k-$135k DOE
- PTO: 15 days (3 weeks)
- 401k: 3% contributed by employer with no match requirement
