Job Title: Clinical Pharmacist I (Utilization Management) REMOTE ROLE
- Location: Massachusetts (or any state with active RPh license), Arkansas, California, Delaware
Hawaii, Iowa, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Dakota
Overview:
We are seeking a Clinical Pharmacist I (UM) with a stable work history and a fresh candidate profile (no prior submissions). The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of clinical experience or completion of a pharmacy residency, an active pharmacist license, and preferably a background in retail pharmacy and/or managed care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review pharmacy prior authorization requests and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Provide peer-to-peer clinical consultations and support formulary management.
- Oversee pharmacy operations support staff and ensure timely, accurate determinations.
- Participate in care management, staff training, and issue resolution.
- Support program development and implement utilization management strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy required; PharmD preferred
- 5+ years clinical experience or residency
- RPh license (Massachusetts or any applicable state)
- MTM Certification desirable
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
Preference:
- Retail experience
