A rewarding opportunity is available for a Staff Pharmacist dedicated to delivering exceptional pharmaceutical care in a closed-door, long-term care setting. This role offers a contract-to-hire arrangement with the possibility for a long-term position, providing stability and growth potential.
Located in Foxborough, MA, this position supports a high-volume pharmacy processing approximately 600 prescriptions daily. The pharmacist will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and safety of medication dispensing through the use of the Frameworks software system, with training provided to enhance proficiency.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing initial reviews and final medication verifications within the Frameworks system
- Overseeing pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflow
- Dispensing medications safely and accurately
- Managing a rotating schedule between first and second shifts, Monday through Friday, plus rotating weekends
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Active and clear Massachusetts Pharmacist license
- Experience in pharmacy practice, preferably in a high-volume environment
- Strong ability to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Open to new graduates eager to develop their pharmacy skills
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday with rotating 1st and 2nd shifts
- Rotating weekends
