We're looking for experienced and motivated Auto Body Technician to join our growing company. The Auto Body Technician is responsible for performing vehicle repairs and inspections, collaborating with the team to correctly assess vehicles, consulting with the estimator to determine if parts are needed.
Responsibilities:
- Perform minor and major repairs on vehicles.
- Participate in developing a proper repair plan for each vehicle
- Thoroughly disassemble, repair, and reassemble each vehicle
- Repair collision damaged vehicles according to OEM specifications and company standards.
- Ability to use a wide range of auto-body pneumatic power and hand tools including:
Position Qualifications:
- 3+ years of collision repair experience
- Ability to demonstrate and properly complete light to heavy repairs
- Deliver high quality work
- Must have own tools
- Ability to understand and follow a collision blueprint
- Ability to understand insurance estimates
- Ability to jack and support a vehicle on jack stands
- Ability to set-up Oxy-Acetylene torches
- Ability to set-up a MIG welder and produce stitch and plug weld
- Perform non-structural repairs – completed small dent repair and fender refinishing
- Completed hat channel fabrication utilizing resistance spot welder
- Performed all lab work in accordance with the required safety protocols of the collision industry
