Occupational Therapist
We are looking for a full or part-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team providing center-based services!

OT Responsibilities:
- Provide service coordination and primary therapy in a center-based setting
- Perform comprehensive evaluations for clients including feeding evaluations
- Perform consultative services on an as needed basis
- Develop treatment plans with goals that are customized, relevant, and functional to/for the client
- Write goals pertaining to skills in all relevant areas including:
- Feeding
- Daily functional skills
- Sensory integration
- Fine/gross motor planning
- Write progress notes including data and progress in all goal areas
- Plan and implement daily programming
- Plan treatments that target the clients goals in the context of highly motivating and/or functional activities or routines
- Collaborate with the clients family and other providers to facilitate carry-over and generalization
- Familiarize self with SLP treatment plans, ABA treatment plans and/or Behavior Support Plans to ensure consistency across all therapy sessions
- Collaborate with BCBA and SLP in the development of goals
- Observe ABA/SLP therapy sessions to familiarize self with teaching strategies and behavior interventions
- Analyze data and make treatment plan changes in a timely fashion, as needed
- Complete paperwork and provide any documentation required to obtain any adaptive equipment needed for family support from insurance companies and/or funding agencies
- Train staff, parents, and team members on the proper use of equipment
Must-Haves:
- Minimum of a masters degree in Occupational Therapy
- Holder of licensure in the state of Massachusetts, as well as any required certifications
- Must be enthusiastic, positive, and passionate about working with children who have complex needs!
- Must be willing to learn and to collaborate with other professionals and disciplines
- Must be able to provide parent coaching
- At least 3 years of pediatric experience
Bonus Points:
- Knowledge and experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders
- Knowledge and experience of providing pediatric feeding services
- Contracted in credentialed with insurance companies in Massachusetts
- Experience with insurance-based OT coding
