Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist to support an outpatient/retail pharmacy connected to a hospital setting in Nantucket, MA. This contract assignment is approximately 13 weeks, with an ASAP start date, offering a focused, day-shift schedule.
Location: Nantucket, MA
Schedule:
- Five 8-hour shifts per week
- Day shifts only
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive pharmacy services within an outpatient/retail setting
- Accurately dispense medications and manage prescriptions
- Collaborate closely with healthcare teams in the hospital environment
- Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Massachusetts pharmacist license
- Retail pharmacy experience preferred
- Availability to work full-time hours on a consistent schedule
- Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
Additional Information:
This role involves travel logistics, including ferry transportation to Nantucket, with some assistance available for ferry costs. Housing is provided in shared accommodations with other travelers due to local housing shortages. Nantucket offers a unique living experience and is ideal for candidates comfortable with residing on the island for the duration of the assignment.
