Aquinas Consulting is seeking to fill a Jr. Network Engineer Contract role for our client, a leading academic institution in Worcester, MA. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to advance their career and take the next step from a Helpdesk/Support role into a Networking role.
Jr. Network Engineer Job Responsibilities:
- Triage/answer escalated tickets from end users
- handle monitoring alerts
- provide field support for network equipment
- orchestrate changes to Juniper and Aruba Wireless gear
Jr. Network Engineer Requirements:
- Troubleshooting skills for end devices (mobile, tablet, laptop, computer) for advanced network or connectivity issues
- Juniper/Aruba experience or associate level certifications
- Good communicator and troubleshooter with the ability to engage with both the team and the users.
