We are looking for an experienced Project Director to join our team in Boston, Massachusetts. This is a long-term contract position that offers the opportunity to lead critical IT initiatives, including risk regulatory and capital management projects. The ideal candidate will excel in coordinating cross-functional teams and driving project success in a dynamic and complex environment.
Responsibilities:
• Lead complex IT projects and programs, providing strategic direction and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, adapting to changing requirements and priorities.
• Monitor project documentation to mitigate risks and ensure timely delivery.
• Apply problem-solving and influencing skills to achieve project objectives and resolve challenges.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive tactical and strategic project delivery.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring commitments are met and expectations are exceeded.
• Oversee vendor management processes, ensuring effective collaboration and accountability.
• Utilize tools such as Clarity PPM or Jira to track progress, manage workflows, and enhance project efficiency.
• Prepare and present clear and concise status reports to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
• Support multiple concurrent projects, balancing priorities and maintaining high-quality outcomes.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management within financial services.
• Strong knowledge of risk regulatory and capital management processes.
• Proficiency with project management tools, including Jira and Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage vendor relationships.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to influence stakeholders effectively.
• Experience in global markets and familiarity with financial forecasting.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and present status updates clearly.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience demonstrating attention to detail.
