Backfill 1144722 - NEED 11/03 START - Assignment for 26-32 weeks
Central Supply Sterile Processing Tech: Float required. A minimum of every other weekend and/or schedule adjusted to meet the needs of the unit and patient care. Travelers must work 2 out of the 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Years Day.

Requirements: CRCST (HSPA) ONLY, UVMMC will not accept any other national certification - preferred certifications can also include CER, CIS , and CHL but would not exclude CRCST • 5 years of SPD experience required • Facility requires HCPs have a MINIMUM of 2 travel assignments for at least 13 weeks each • Must have 1 year experience in a level 1 academic medical center with 20 or more ORs • Must have Service Line experience to submit
SPECIALTY REQUIRED and must be noted in the WH • Competent in Decontamination, Prep and Pack, Steam sterilization, Low temperature sterilization and endoscope • Recent case pick and sterilization experience • STERILE INSTRUMENT REPROCESSING AND GI ENDOSCOPE REPROCESSING • SERVICE LINES: ROBOTICS, GENREAL, CARDIAC, PERIVACULAR, CARDIOVASCULAR, EARS NOSE THROAT, EYES, LAPAROSCOPIC, ORTHO, ORTHO SPINE, NEURO, DENTAL, LOANERS (IMPLANTS), PLASTICS, UROLOGY, ENDO; Flexible scope (high level disinfection experience) • HCP identifies: Minor basic, major basic, davinci scopes and arms, trauma, ENT, dental, smith and nephew, Stryker, United, wright medical, Synthes klm Martin, ortho align, Medtronics and you name them all. Further Requirements: • HCP is familiar with Olympus Scopes and Washer. • HCP is familiar with loaner trays. • HCP rates self as experienced with DaVinci Robot Xi. • HCP is familiar with hand washing delicate items. Time HCP takes to process: • Minor set: less than 7 minutes • Dental set: under 4 minutes • Ortho tray: 15 minutes
