Registered Nurse - Medical - Surgical (Telemetry)
Berlin, VT
20 weeks
Shift - 12H Night 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM
Med-Surg: Acute M/S Tele RN. Every other weekend requirement. NG tube insertion, peripheral IV insertion, telemetry strip interpretation all done by bedside. Travelers must work 2 out of the 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Years Day.
Requirements:
• AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS are required - NIHSS prior to starting; Telemetry certification is preferred
• 5 years' experience in med surg tele OR 3 years of tele experience is required
• Prior travel is required
• Must have completed 2 travel assignments in 300 bed facilities OR have previous experience at any UVMHN acute care facility
• EPIC experience from within the past 2 years is required and nonnegotiable
Additional Information:
• IVS to OFFER
• Monday to Sunday
• No block schedules for any reason
• Bi-weekly orientations on Monday, next available is 9/01
