Responsibilities
- Assist clients in selecting flooring and tile products based on their design preferences and functional needs.
- Conduct in-home consultations to gather client requirements and visualize design possibilities.
- Present design ideas and product recommendations to clients effectively.
- Create and maintain client relationship management (CRM) records to track inquiries and follow-ups.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure smooth order processing and fulfillment of client needs.
- Stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and design techniques to provide informed recommendations.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire design process, from initial consultation to project completion.
Requirements
- Proven experience in interior design or a related field, preferably in a retail setting.
- Strong knowledge of flooring and tile products, materials, and installation techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with clients.
- A passion for design, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed.
- Proficient in using design software and tools, as well as basic computer applications.
- A degree or certification in interior design or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
