Job Description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A leadership opportunity awaits in a home infusion pharmacy setting, designed for experienced pharmacists skilled in sterile compounding and pharmacy management. This contract-to-hire role is based in Foxboro, MA, offering a structured Monday-Friday schedule during the first shift, with potential weekend and on-call responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage prescription documentation ensuring full compliance with HIPAA, BioMatrix protocols, and all relevant federal and state regulations.
Provide direct patient counseling, promote safe dispensing practices, and oversee patient safety concerns including incident management.
Coordinate closely with intake, referral, pharmacy, and shipping teams to guarantee seamless patient onboarding, prescription fulfillment, and timely delivery.
Lead pharmacy technician staff, support cross-location staffing requirements, and communicate essential operational updates affecting people, processes, and technology.

Qualifications:

Active and clear Massachusetts Pharmacist license required; Connecticut license preferred.
Minimum of 3 years pharmacist experience with at least 1 year in a specialty pharmacy environment.
Proven management experience within a pharmacy setting.
Demonstrated expertise in sterile compounding and USP 797 standards.
Familiarity with CareTend pharmacy software is an advantage.

Schedule/Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Possible weekend shifts and on-call rotation
