Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A leadership opportunity awaits in a home infusion pharmacy setting, designed for experienced pharmacists skilled in sterile compounding and pharmacy management. This contract-to-hire role is based in Foxboro, MA, offering a structured Monday-Friday schedule during the first shift, with potential weekend and on-call responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage prescription documentation ensuring full compliance with HIPAA, BioMatrix protocols, and all relevant federal and state regulations.
- Provide direct patient counseling, promote safe dispensing practices, and oversee patient safety concerns including incident management.
- Coordinate closely with intake, referral, pharmacy, and shipping teams to guarantee seamless patient onboarding, prescription fulfillment, and timely delivery.
- Lead pharmacy technician staff, support cross-location staffing requirements, and communicate essential operational updates affecting people, processes, and technology.
Qualifications:
- Active and clear Massachusetts Pharmacist license required; Connecticut license preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years pharmacist experience with at least 1 year in a specialty pharmacy environment.
- Proven management experience within a pharmacy setting.
- Demonstrated expertise in sterile compounding and USP 797 standards.
- Familiarity with CareTend pharmacy software is an advantage.

Schedule/Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- Possible weekend shifts and on-call rotation
