  • This role focuses on ensuring seamless connectivity, functionality, and performance of networked systems, IT infrastructure, and A/V components.

  • Install and configure electronic systems, including network hardware (routers, switches, access points), servers, A/V equipment (e.g., projectors, displays, speakers, microphones), and integrated IT/electronic components to ensure compatibility and optimal performance.

  • Set up and maintain LAN/WAN networks, configure IP addressing, VLANs, and network security protocols to support integrated IT and A/V systems.

  • Install, calibrate, and test A/V systems, including video conferencing solutions, digital signage, and audio distribution systems.

  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to networking, IT infrastructure, electronic systems, and A/V equipment, including hardware failures, connectivity issues, audio/video signal disruptions, and software conflicts.

  • Perform testing, calibration, and validation of integrated systems (network, IT, and A/V) to ensure functionality, reliability, and compliance with technical specifications.

  • Create and maintain detailed documentation, including manuals, network diagrams, wiring schematics, A/V signal flow charts, and troubleshooting procedures.

  • Implement cybersecurity best practices (e.g., firewalls, encryption, access controls) and ensure A/V systems comply with industry standards (e.g., NIST, ISO, AVIXA).

  • Recommend and implement upgrades to hardware, firmware, software, and A/V equipment to enhance customer experience.

  • Provide technical support and training to end-users on system operation, network connectivity, and A/V equipment usage.

  • Work patiently with people at all levels of experience and technical knowledge.

  • Quickly and effectively communicate with customers.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Electronics, Audio/Video Technology, Computer Networking, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 2+ years of experience in electronic systems integration, IT networking, or A/V system installation and support.

  • 3+ years of customer relationship management.

  • Proficiency in networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.) and network hardware (Cisco, Ubiquiti, or similar).

  • Experience with A/V systems, including video conferencing platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams), HDMI/VGA distribution, and audio processing (e.g., DSP configuration).

  • Knowledge of electronic systems integration, including wiring, soldering, and component-level troubleshooting.

  • Experience working with cabling and terminations as needed.

  • Familiarity with IT systems, including servers, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).

  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles and tools (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection systems).

  • Ability to read and interpret technical schematics, network diagrams, and A/V signal flow charts.

  • Certifications (Preferred): CompTIA Network+, CCNA, A+, CTS (Certified Technology Specialist), or similar certifications in networking, IT, or A/V systems.

  • Must have a valid driver's license.

  • Must have a clean criminal background.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in confined spaces, climb ladders, and perform fieldwork for A/V and network installations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with IoT devices, smart systems, or building automation systems integrated with A/V solutions.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and their integration with local networks and A/V systems.

  • Knowledge of programming for automation, system monitoring, or A/V control systems.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.

  • Health insurance.
