*Must have a reliable, personal vehicle

*Must have a Driver's License

*Must be able to work 2- 3 weekday afternoons to evenings (ie. 3-8:00PM)

*Some Saturday availability is preferred but not required

*Looking to work 10+ Hours per week (Part Time)

Applicants who enjoy and excel in this role may have worked as a: Paraprofessional, Teacher, Assistant Teacher, Teacher's Aide, Instructional Aide, Daycare Assistant, Childcare worker, Rehabilitative Assistant, Educational Associate, Educational Assistant, Nanny, Tutor, Home Care Aid, Mental Health Therapist, PCA, HHA, CNA, Home Health Worker, Medical Assistant, Psychologist, SLPA, OTA, and Social Worker.

Behavior Technician Responsibilities

  • Manage 1 to 1 ABA services for kids with Autism Spectrum Disorders
  • Work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst
  • Run regular sessions (about 2-5 hours)
  • Flexible hours/custom scheduling
  • Work in home, center, and/or Community settings -depends on client's needs
  • Working with families for effective collaboration
  • Submitting all required paperwork in a timely manner
  • Electronic Data collection
  • Implementing individualized behavior support plans
  • Implementing skill acquisition programs


Behavior Technician Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
  • Valid Driver's License (Required)
  • Friendly, energetic, and enjoys working with individuals with special needs
  • Experience working with children
  • Ability to attend an initial orientation
  • Timely and organized
  • Ability to work independently
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively within a variety of situations
