OVERVIEW
Bridge Boston Charter School is a tuition-free, K1-8 public school serving 335 students in Roxbury, Massachusetts, and the surrounding community– many of whom have experienced social, emotional, and developmental barriers to learning. Bridge Boston’s robust social-emotional program is designed with an eye to supporting students who have experienced trauma in their homes and communities.

THE POSITION
Reporting to the Chief of Finance and Strategy, the Enrollment and Recruitment Manager will be responsible for leading two key functions at Bridge Boston: student recruitment and enrollment and staff recruitment and selection. The Enrollment and Recruitment Manager will work closely with Bridge Boston’s leaders to develop and implement the systems required to effectively manage both functions.
Specifically, the Enrollment and Recruitment Manager will be responsible for:
Managing Student Recruitment and Enrollment:
- Managing student enrollment at Bridge Boston, including managing the SchoolMint database and our annual lottery;
- Leading efforts to recruit new students to Bridge Boston and to fill open seats;
- Ensuring Bridge Boston is in compliance with Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) regulations regarding student enrollment;
- Completing student enrollment related state reporting;
- Supporting the Operations Team with managing records for new students;
- Working with the Operations Team to plan various events related to student enrollment;
- Executing other systems as needed to ensure Bridge Boston remains fully enrolled.
Managing Staff Recruitment and Selection:
- Managing all aspects of staff recruitment and hiring for Bridge Boston, including managing the JazzHR system;
- Representing Bridge Boston at various teacher and school recruitment events;
- Sourcing new candidates for open positions;
- Conducting the preliminary stages of the selection process, including resume screens and phone interviews;
- Working with Bridge Boston’s leaders and hiring managers to support them in filling open positions;
- Executing other systems as needed to ensure Bridge Boston remains fully staffed.
Other::
- Provide support when needed on other projects related to school and systems improvement in partnership with members of the Bridge Boston Executive Leadership Team
- Perform other tasks as determined by the Executive Director or Chief of Finance & Strategy
QUALIFICATIONS
- BA or BS required
- Experience teaching or working in a school setting preferred; stronger preference given to those who have experience working in a charter school
- Experience leading or managing projects preferred
- Have a “self-starter” and team player attitude
- Ability to communicate effectively with different audiences and collaborate as needed with teachers and other staff members
- High degree of comfort in interacting with and reaching out to people and families
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Adaptive, flexible, and resourceful problem solver
- Excited about regularly receiving feedback and have a growth mindset
- Strong work ethic and sense of urgency
- Life-long learner; willingness to make and learn from mistakes; values and solicits critical feedback

COMPENSATION
Salary Range: $65K to $90K, depending on qualifications and experience.
Compensation based on full-time position. This position does have the potential to be an 0.8 FTE or four days per week. The salary would be pro-rated accordingly.
