Job Description

Hardware Test Lead
Our client located in the Concord, MA area is seeking a hands-on Hardware Test Lead with strong RF testing expertise and a proven record of delivering successful project outcomes. Work as part of a team, while also working independently to plan, execute, and document hardware testing activities.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute detailed test plans from specifications, regulations, and industry standards.
Perform internal testing, including pre-compliance and engineering characterization.
Coordinate with external test labs for certification, compliance, and quality testing.
Set up and operate test stations, racks, and bench setups for various deployments.
Conduct Over the Air and anechoic chamber testing, and analyze results for compliance and performance.
Automate testing using Python and Linux command-line tools, and manage test data in databases.

Qualifications

Experience with RF measurement, calibration, and pre-compliance testing.
Ability to derive pass/fail limits from standards and regulatory documents.
Strong documentation skills, including final test reports and compliance records.
Statistical knowledge to determine test sample sizes for meaningful reliability results.
Familiarity with HALT/HASS, safety, and environmental testing.
