Join us for the SPX Technologies Hiring Event on July 30th, from 10 am-3 pm Eastern Time! This event is an exciting opportunity for candidates interested in exploring careers with SPX Technologies. We are looking for talented individuals to join our dynamic team, including production assemblers, production laborers, a shipping coordinator, and a production planning specialist.
Production Assembler
This role is responsible for assembling and testing production for the aviation industry with a focus on maintaining the highest quality, safety, and on time-delivery of goods to customers.
Requirements:
- High School diploma
- Ability to read and carefully follow instructions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in a production environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Good computer skills such as use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Familiarity with wiring harnesses, soldering, drilling, AC & DC currents
Production Laborer
To support the Rotational Molding team and contribute to the efficient operation in the manufacturing, assembly and supply of rotational-molded products to the highest quality, while achieving the corporate goals of the company.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Forklift License
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to communicate in a professional manner
- Knowledge of general use of hand and power tools
- Valid driver’s license
Production Floater
To assist the production staff as needed in assembly, roto, shipping and receiving. This involves working with production staff to make sure quality and production standards are met in a timely, accurate and safe manner.
Requirements:
- H.S. Diploma and/or GED
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Mechanical aptitude with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Forklift License
Shipping Coordinator
Responsible for coordination of all outgoing shipments, creating appropriate shipping documentation, maintaining associated records, and coordinating with customer service/sales teams.
Requirements:
- International Shipping Experience including knowledge of Incoterms
- Mechanical aptitude with attention to detail
- Forklift experience
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office
Production Planning Specialist
As a Materials Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless flow of materials within the production process. Your primary focus will be on production planning, ensuring that materials are available to meet production schedules and customer delivery dates.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- A highly developed analytical and organizational ability
- Excellent communications skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Basic Microsoft Office skills.
