Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A temporary opportunity is available for a qualified Occupational Therapist to provide services within a K-12 school setting in Chicopee, MA. This contract position runs for the full school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy evaluations, individualized treatment plans, and direct therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student development and meet educational goals.
- Document therapy progress and maintain compliance with school district and state regulations.
- Participate in meetings such as IEPs to contribute professional recommendations.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid state license as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably K-12.
- Familiarity with educational environments and ability to tailor interventions accordingly.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
